Share Links Which Allow Anyone With The Link To Edit
One of the really useful features of our Coggle Organisation plan is to be able to create links that make collaborating as simple as just sending a link.
If you’re leading a meeting, or getting a team of students to collaborate, then sending them an Editable Link is the fastest way to get everyone editing the same document.
To create a link, open the sharing menu, then click to create a new private link. Normally these allow people only to view the diagram, but in Organisation diagrams you’ll see an extra icon when you hover over. Click it, and anyone with the link will be able to contribute to the diagram – so go ahead and share in email, or any other way you choose!
You can easily go back to the same menu and change the link back to view-only if you want to stop people from making further edits – which is really handy for locking reports once they’ve been completed!
(As an Organisation administrator you can also disable creating these links via the “Disable External Sharing” option in your settings, if you need to keep track of exactly who wrote what for compliance.)
If you think a Coggle Organisation might work for your team, you can get started at coggle.it/organisations, or drop us an email at orgs@coggle.it!
